Feeling Disconnected with Oneself

You know that feeling where you just. don’t. feel. like. yourself anymore?

The once bright and enthusiastic person feels dimmer, irritable, and stressed out all the time.

Life can get busy...

...meetings here, social gatherings there, responsibilities everywhere.

In the blink of an eye, we can find ourselves lost and disconnected from ourselves. Especially when we allow ourselves to get caught up in the busyness of life.

You may even have asked yourself these questions at one point in time:

“Why do I feel trapped in myself?”

“Where did *I* go?”

“Is this the “real” me?”

“Will I stay like this forever?”

Feeling disconnected from yourself is the worst way to lose oneself...and it definitely is no way to live.

Keep reading to learn ways to reconnect and find yourself again.

Ways to Re-Connect with Yourself

It's normal to sometimes feel like we've lost our authentic selves.

But the good news is that we DO have the power to change it.  This is why it's so essential to take some time out to reconnect.

To be connected to yourself means to be attentive and attuned to what is going on inside of you, and to know who you are.

We've put together a list of some ways to reconnect with oneself.

1. Begin each day by checking in with yourself.

2. Pay attention to your feelings and triggers.

3. Sit and just be.

4. Find something to be grateful for each day.

5. Open up to your inner circle.

The key to learning to reconnect with ourselves honestly and fully is to get to a point where we learn to listen to ourselves rather than ignore our mind and body’s signals

Clear away all that stands in between YOU and YOURSELF, and go and discover yourself fully and find your inner calm.
