No, we do not. Due to Telehealth laws and regulations, Wellnite doctors cannot prescribe controlled medications such as narcotics and benzodiazepines. If you’re currently taking these or any other medications, your Wellnite doctor needs to know. This way, we can check for interactions with any potential treatment we prescribe.

If you already see a doctor for your mental health conditions, you should keep seeing them if you’re able. It's important to stay on any medication they prescribe you. Stopping antidepressants without medical supervision is dangerous.

There is no limit to how many sessions you can have with your therapist. During your first appointment, your therapist will discuss with you and come up with a plan of number of sessions per month. Yes, if you feel like your medication or treatment is not a good fit for you; you can get an appointment with your Dr. right away. During your regular follow-up calls, you can also explain to your doctor if a treatment isn’t working. Your doctor may decide to modify the treatment or change it altogether.
